Reproductive Acupuncture Might be the Solution to Your Infertility Problems
Infertility is the last thing that a couple thinks about when they decide to have a child. Most people just assume that when they make that choice it will happen, not always immediately but eventually. They plan financially, renovate the house if they need to, and start talking about baby names and daycare plans. The idea that they might not be able to conceive a child doesn’t even cross their minds.
Before the 1980’s, a failure to conceive in the traditional manner was a dead end for most couples. The development of technology such as IVF and IUI changed all of that but there are still situations where women cannot produce healthy ovaries and men have thin semen that cannot impregnate them if they can. Both of these are situations where reproductive acupuncture may help.
Reproductive acupuncture, also called infertility acupuncture, can stimulate physiological activities that may be preventing the pregnancy. It can also increase blood flow and relax the subjects, making intercourse less strenuous and allowing the body to do its work. The infertility problems may not be due to physical problems at all. In some instances the mental and emotional state of either party can be the issue.
Modern technology and western medicine have made tremendous strides in the medical field over the past three decades. Since the birth of the first IVF child dozens of fertility techniques have been developed. Some of these are natural and some are pharmaceutical. Reproductive acupuncture is one of the former, and it hasn’t just been invented. It’s been around for thousands of years and it works.
The pain of failure for a couple who truly wants to conceive a child is a strain that no one should have to go through. Those who truly want children should always be able to have them, but unfortunately that is not always possible. The odds are much better today, though. Between the advances of modern science and the wonders of ancient fertility acupuncture techniques you now have a much better chance of having that child. Add in some vitamins, a healthy diet, and some exercise and you’ll be hearing the pitter patter of little feet in no time.
